The Sixers Add Wing Depth

Last night, the Sixers and the Warriors completed a small depth move. The Sixers receive Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks. Like I said, the names are nothing to write home about.

With the trade, the Sixers get two wing scorers to improve their bench production and wing depth. They have been reported to have interest in Robinson for a while and finally got him. They will part ways with three second round picks. I think three is a bit much but as second rounders, it is easy to stomach.

This year Robinson is averaging 12.9 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in roughly 32 minutes a game. On the other hand, Burks is averaging 16.1 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 29 minutes a game. That is good production for the Sixers to claim and bring off their bench. Of course, I think the numbers a bit inflated since they have been playing for a terrible Golden State Warrior team. However, the scoring will still be there despite the per game numbers probably dipping.

The deadline is today at 3, stay tuned for more updates!
